Every year, Fader Fort attendees anticipate who will be the surprise guest for the 4th and final day.  On Saturday, March 19th, 2011, Diddy made his first appearance at Fader Fort and SxSW.  The man once known as “Puff Daddy” has been a huge successor of producing Billboard top charting albums, sold out concerts, and launching the careers of artists such as Notorious B.I.G. to Janelle Monae.

After co-signing Lil B‘s performance, Diddy absorbed the energy from the crowd and performed several hits such as “All About The Benjamins”, “Mo Money, Mo Problems”, and “Victory”.  As always, Diddy continues to re-brand himself with his “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” mentality.  What does all of this mean?  Well, it shows that he has his eyes and ears open to artists on the rise in the indie music world.  To put the icing on the cake, Diddy announced to a rowdy crowd of fans that  Odd Future is “the future of music”.  Enough said.
