With the release of Converse Addict Collection, people wondered on what the factors were in Chuck Taylor All Star to put on the sales tag a triple digit figure. With the opportunity, Hypebeast took the chance to take a closer look into the construction and characteristics of the sneaker which has progressed generation after generation of followers. The concept was to re-create the Chuck Taylor circa 1960′s with new age improvements. The Vibram outsole gives a non-slip rubber to last longer. A Poron in the bed of the sneaker gives additional cushion with a further Outlast liner for more comfort relate to heat and temperature. There’s the slight difference in the 1960′s silhouette improved stitching and branding on the heel which goes back 50 years.
